Here at 13 Dice we live by one simple motto, games are more. Beyond their components and instructions, games create moments of joy, inspiration, and togetherness. Games are capable of redistributing the love and care that we build into them, and that's exactly what we're here to do.
Our Story
Where it all started
Survive the Knight Watch began development in 2021 with a simple question: How can we make tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) more approachable? Benjamin Hewes set out to capture the thrilling, high-stakes moments of TTRPGs and transform them into an exciting pickup-and-play experience.

The project quickly became a labor of love, driven by countless hours of research, development, and playtesting. But a game is never truly complete without the right team behind it. In 2024, 13 Dice LLC was founded, and we brought in talented editors and artists to help bring a high quality prototype to life.

It’s only with the incredible support of friends, family, and the Austin gaming community that made this journey possible. We’re beyond grateful for the love and encouragement that transformed Survive the Knight Watch from a fun little idea, into a fully realized passion project.
